Basic Personal Information:

I have been
married to Rick for 23 years and we have four children. Rick grew up in
Van Buren. My family moved around, but I graduated from high school in
Fort Smith, attended Westark Community College (now UAFS) and UCA in
Conway, AR.
My call to ministry – why it is my passion:
-
I have
always loved children! My thoughts of ministry began in a small church
nursery in San Antonio, TX. God began a passion in me at that time that
the church should be a wonderful place for moms to bring their children,
so that the children could attend worship...and that EVERY child who
comes in the doors of the ministry should know that Jesus loves them.
As the years have passed, I still feel that way, but God has grown me
and developed my passion. I still want children to know that Jesus
loves them, but it goes much further than that, children need to know
that God has a special plan for each one of them; He wants His children
to know how to live His way! My passion has become teaching the Bible
in age appropriate ways and offering opportunities for parents that
assist them in the awesome responsibility that they have in raising
their children to become spiritual champions!
