It is a NEW SEASON at Heritage, and God keeps telling us: “NOW IS THE TIME!” It is time to connect to God and His people in meaningful ways. It is time to teach and release the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit, to move toward fullness in Christ, to seek, assertively, to introduce others to the life changing power of Jesus Christ that we have come to know. GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT HERITAGE!

We have just completed our new STUDENT LIFE CENTER! Upstairs is “THE BLOCK” for youth. Downstairs is a continuation of “THE BACKYARD” for children. It is the first phase of our four-phase plan for an 80,000 square foot multi-purpose ministry center. Come check it out!

This fall we are introducing the international Alpha Course. Over 11.3 million have completed this life-changing course now being offered in over 164 countries. Bear Grylls of “Man vs Wild” is the national spokesmen for this movement. ALPHA seeks to answer those big questions people have about life in a relaxed, non-threatening environment. We plan to offer this 11 week course twice a year on Sunday evenings from 5:45 to 8:15 p.m. For more information, go to www.alphausa.org.

Heritage staff member Aaron Jackson and his wife, Robin, lead the “Rend Your Heart” ministry (see www.rendyourheart.com). This movement of prayer and worship is establishing the tabernacle of David in the River Valley and crying out night and day for the fulfillment of God’s prophetic promises to His people for this area.

We have home and foreign mission teams deploying throughout the year. Our local mission teams are busy “making the presence of Christ real in the River Valley.”

Heritage has two worship services on Sunday morning: a 9:15 a.m. Traditional Service and a 10:45 a.m. Contemporary Service led by our praise team!

We have Sunday School sessions for all ages at 9:15 and 10:45. Children check-in and enter “The Backyard.” Kids love our curriculum based on Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Youth head to “The Block” for “AM-VIBE!” Adults may choose between traditional Sunday School classes and short-term Heritage University courses. Also, we have a full week of ministries for all ages: PULSE Student Ministries meets on Sunday evenings from 5:45-8:15; Adult Life-Groups (covering a wide range of topics) meet throughout the week. Wednesday evenings are all about “eating the Word!” All ages study the same scriptures. This year we are studying “The Great Adventure!” in the book of Acts. We serve a fellowship meal from 5:15 until 6:00 p.m. Tiny Tims (pre-school) and Timothy Team (1st-6th) begin at 5:45. Youth and Adult studies begin at 6:00!

It is exciting to be a part of what God is doing in this season! We are preparing ourselves for the revival and spiritual awakening God is about to bring! It is a joy to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and to see them filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit!
